2013 BIKES : COMMUTER

africabike three

OVERVIEW

africabike three
It's the flagship of our AfricaBike Program, meaning it's designed to survive the rigors of a rural beating. With the experience of delivering over 4,000 AfricaBikes to sub-Saharan African communities in need of transportation assistance, we know what an affordable, durable, and functional commuter bike needs to be: simple, easy to use, and tough as nails. The AfricaBike Three comes with an internal three-speed rear hub with coaster brake—keeping things sealed and protected—a sturdy, integrated rear rack, basket up front, kickstand, fenders and a step-through aluminum frame that makes it safe, comfortable and fun.

"All the bike you'll ever need — and then some." -Cycling Active Magazine, UK

TECHNOLOGY

KONA 7005/6061 ALUMINUM

Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, affordable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. It is, by far, the ultimate aluminum tubing on the market today. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, allowing us to fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application.

LIFETIME WARRANTY

The original owner shall pay all labor and shipping charges connected with the repair or replacement of the bicycle frame. Please see the Kona owner's manual, provided with your bicycle, for additional information
